Aleyna was diagnosed with acute liver failure when the request came in. During this time, her mom stayed bedside while dad cared for her two siblings at home, worked and visited the hospital each night from Pomona. The Parker H. Bainter Foundation helped cover hospital meals and travel expenses.
The Parker H. Bainter Foundation was established to help support families with children in the hospital and offset the expenses associated with having a child in the hospital.
